Fundamentals of Rigging and Hand Signaling Standard (Released April 30, 2007)

The “draft” rigging and hand signaling standard has been removed from the OSSA website as we are in the process of finalizing the content for OSSA Board of Directors approval and endorsement.

Once the Rigging and Hand Signaling Standard has been endorsed the OSSA will publish the standard on the website.

The purpose of this Standard is to clearly establish the minimum acceptable content for Rigging & Hand Signaling training programs provided by Training Providers who have received Accreditation Status from the Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA). This Standard is intended for end-users of (workers required to use) Rigging & Hand Signaling.
